With this guide you'll be able to get into the game far enough to handle yourself on your own. It took me a long time to get into it, and i wish i had found a guide like this while starting off, but i could not. I decided to make this guide because this game has no such thing as a tutorial (you can't really count that flight tutorial that tells you to do stuff but not how to do it as a legit tutorial.) Then at that point you can either continue playing as a humble merchant or bankrupt assassin with all your well earned new knowledge of the game, or you can start an entirely new game as something else, but not before reading my section on "Selecting Your Start".

One EST is assigned Energy, one is assigned Ore, one the local Food, one the local Bio, and then maybe one Silicon. I usually deploy several ESTs in one area with 10-15 sectors (like Argon Prime + 4 jumps).
I recommend trying it all out - eventually - once you've learned the core game.īut starting out, if you don't want to feel like you're taking a college course on how to trade in a video game just to make some steady cash, EST is simple to use not a huge cheat and will handle the hard/boring stuff for you.
The pilots are compatible with the CLS and CAG scripts that are in the Bonus Pack - so you can train them up as one type of pilot and then transfer them to another job later on and their skills/ranks transfer.Īll of Lucike's stuff is really good. If you find early trading monotonous and the default Trade Command MK3 software too dumb, random, slow - then I highly recommend Lucike's Economy and Supply Trader (Wirtschaftshändler).ĮST is cheaper to set up than MK3 traders (because it doesn't require the MK3 software).
